Crispy Panko Deep-Fried Shrimp

    • 1 cup Kibon panko bread crumbs

    • 1 lb medium shrimp, peeled and deveined (tails on)

    • 2 eggs, beaten

    • 4 cups vegetable oil

    • 1 cup all-purpose flour

    • ½ teaspoon garlic powder

    • ½ teaspoon salt

    • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper

    • 1 teaspoon paprika

Season the shrimp with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.

Lightly beat eggs in a 2nd bowl and put panko bread crumbs in a 3rd.

Coat each shrimp in the flour, egg, and panko mixture

Heat oil in a deep skillet to 375 ˚F (190 ˚C) and fry shrimp at a time until they turn golden brown.

Remove and drain on paper towels before serving.
