Crispy Panko Fried Shrimp

    • 1 cup KIBON Panko Breadcrumbs

    • 1 lb medium shrimp, peeled and deveined (tails on)

    • 2 eggs, beaten

    • 4 cups vegetable oil

    • 1 cup all-purpose flour

    • ½ teaspoon garlic powder

    • ½ teaspoon salt

    • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper

    • 1 teaspoon paprika

Instructions:

  • Step 1

    Season the shrimp with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.

  • Step 2

    Mix the flour and paprika together in a separate bowl.

  • Step 3

    Lightly beat eggs in one bowl and put panko in another.

  • Step 4

    Coat each shrimp in the flour, egg, and panko mixture

  • Step 5

    Heat oil in a deep skillet to 375 ˚F (190 ˚C) and fry shrimp until they turn golden brown.

  • Step 6

    Remove and drain on paper towels before serving.
